WELCOME TO THE PRINCIPAL'S PAGE
March is here! Hopefully the weather will calm down soon. This month is chocked full of special events, please be sure to read the calendar. Parent Teacher Conferences is Thursday March 14th. Our expectation is that students in second through fifth grade participate in conference. They should be sharing their WIGs (Wildly Important Goals) as well as the plan they have to meet those goals. WILDLY IMPORTANT GOALS
Our school community will be working on creating and working towards Wildly Important Goals (WIGs). We will have both professional (school related) and personal goals.
My professional goal is: I will update the Principal Page on the school website weekly for the remainder of the school year through June, 30th, 2019. My plan for accomplishing my professional goal is to highlight the goings on in our school community either through written or image format.
My personal goal is: I will reach my goal weight by March 1st, 2019. My plan for accomplishing my personal goal is to work out every other day, and follow my diet plan everyday.

MATH IS BEAUTIFUL PROJECT IN FIFTH GRADE
Students will create a mosaic art piece using pattern blocks that are assigned certain values as well as certain mathematical operations. The expectation if for students to use their knowledge of the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to strategically plan out their mosaic. Students will be evaluated on their math processes as well as their final art piece.
