Social Studies Mission Statement of P.S. 94x
'LEADERS OF TOMORROW CREATE CHANGE TODAY'
"Our mission in Social Studies at P.S. 94x is to incorporate leadership skills in our lessons to create great 'LEADERS' of tomorrow. History is a timeline of great changes that have occurred during the years that have led to advanced civilizations. These changes were brought on by great leaders of their time. Examples of change and reasons why are all questions we fester in the classroom to connect and become motivated to be leaders in our time as well. "

All About The Social Studies Teachers
Hi my name is Ms. Dash. I teach 5th grade Social Studies. I want students to understand the history of how we came to be. I like to have discussions and share knowledge among ourselves as well as share our opinions on topics related to the Western Hemisphere. ~Ms. Dash
Hi I am Mrs. Argyros. I have been teaching at P.S. 94x for 20 years and love Social Studies. I incorporate many hands on culminating activities to reassure that each child applies what they learned. Hoping for a great year ahead.~Mrs. Argyros
Hi I am Ms. Diamantis. This is my 3rd year at P.S. 94x and I enjoy teaching Social Studies for grades 2-4. My goal is to allow learning to take place by exposing students to various resources beyond the text. I am looking forward to a productive year with your child. ~Ms. Diamantis
